Implementing partners of the European Union (EU)-Philippines Digital Economy Package convened the first Project Steering Committee Meeting on 04 June 2026.
This initiative aims to support the development of Philippines as a digital hub in the region by improving connectivity, ensuring reliable access to Copernicus data to support decision-making on socio-economic concerns, and upskilling personnel on 5G and cybersecurity. It also complements capacity building efforts under the National Copernicus Capacity Support Action Programme or CopPhil through a data-driven approach on strengthening disaster management and climate action initiatives.
