Bicol-born singer-songwriter dwta makes a fearless statement with “Tabi!,” a genre-blurring track released on the same day as her birthday. Long recognized for her softer, introspective sound and earnest songwriting, dwta melds alt-pop sensibilities with folk textures, country-inspired banjo strums, driving percussions, and grunge-inflected electric guitars. “I want people to feel like it’s okay to walk away from anything that disrupts their peace,” the Sony Music Entertainment artist shares. “Whether it’s a toxic relationship, a bad habit, or even a friendship, it’s okay to let go. It doesn’t make you weak; it actually makes you stronger. The vibe I imagine is like those action movie endings where you walk away while everything explodes behind you.
