This Kids Music Day, Keep Music Alive is inviting people across the country to grab anything they can find and start drumming. The nonprofit's "Drum on Anything" Challenge is a fun, social media-driven campaign encouraging musicians, students, families and music fans of all ages to post a short video of themselves "drumming ON anything WITH anything" while helping raise awareness and support for music education. Inspired by the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, participants are asked to use #DrumOnAnything, tag three friends to take part, and either share their own video or make a donation to a music education nonprofit of their choice. Music education organizations nationwide are also encouraged to use the challenge to engage supporters and raise funds for their own programs.
