Mayonnaise to stage Akalain Mo Yun Part 2 this September 7

08/10/2019 12:42:47 AM

Barely two months since its success, Filipino band Mayonnaise is set to take the big stage once again for the second run of their major concert Akalain Mo Yun.

Dubbed as Akalain Mo Yun Part 2, the acclaimed pop-rock band promises to take the sequel to a more exciting direction with new music arrangements, special collaborations, and engaging production values that will leave the audience wanting for more.

“We’re always willing to take up the challenge of not repeating ourselves,” said Monty Macalino, lead singer and guitarist of Mayonnaise. “Expect the second run to be more open to musical possibilities. We’re also excited to work with some of our esteemed peers in the local music scene.”

For the second time in a quarter, Mayonnaise is slated to perform their greatest hits and rarities – though with a different tweaked set list – but still with the support from The Manila String Machine – a musical ensemble known for their captivating, string-laden performances and mood-setting soundscapes. This time, however, Barbie Almalbis, Champ Lui Pio of Hale, and the also-returning I Belong To The Zoo will join this hitmaking quintet.

Akalain Mo Yun Part 2, the Mayonnaise's sophomore concert will take place on Saturday, 7 September 7 2019, at the Music Museum. Show starts at 7:30pm. Tickets are available via bit.ly/AkalainMoYun2019 and ktx.abs-cbn.com, or you may contact Music Museum at 721 0635 / 721 6726. This event is made possible by One Music PH and Gabi Na Naman Productions, and in partnership with Mango Mama, Fluffy Stuff, and Papa Tea.
