The One-Day Creed in the Woods of Manila

12/18/2018 05:52:24 PM

It may then be a Holiday Friday for some; but for wrestling fans, 30 November 2018 wasn't just a Bonifacio Day of sorts but a special holiday as gaming vlog superstar Austin Creed, more known in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as Xavier Woods arrived in the country for a day full of interaction with fans.

Woods, more known as 1/3 of the 5-time WWE tag team champion The New Day and the spearheader of the gaming vlog channel UpUpDownDown, hit Manila during that day and spent the morning riding a kalesa and even being interviewed by Wave 89.1. Afternoon came by and Woods bonded with the press about gaming and the current landscape of professional wrestling. Hell, he even tackled his take on the movie Creed.

But the highlight of the night is the meet and greet held at Mall of Asia music hall; wherein ordinary fans and even known local wrestling personalities stormed the event just to meet the wrestling and gaming personality. Plus capping up the day-long Manila affair was Woods' visit to a Playbook branch at Circuit Makati wherein he played Street Fighter and other game with other aficionados.

This was apparently Xavier's second visit to the country, with the first one held on 9 September 2016 wherein the New Day defended the RAW Tag Team Champions during the last WWE Manila Tour at the Mall of Asia Arena. It was also during the day when Woods went straight from the airport to the said branch and bonded with the gaming enthusiasts there.

Xavier Woods is the WWE superstar based from Atlanta, Georgia. He also heads UpUpDownDown, a channel which made him recognized as the Most Subscribed To Celebrity Video Game Channel.
