Jack Daniel's lights up new Holiday Barrel Tree at BGC

11/24/2018 07:13:22 AM

Jack Daniel's kicked off the Yuletide season with its tradition of lighting its iconic Holiday Barrel Tree last Friday, 23 November 2018 at C1 Park in High Street Central Square, Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City. The event saw the launching of Bar No. 7, the liquor brand's first ever bar in Metro Manila, as VIP guests, media personalities, social media influencers, and even passers-by look on.

In time for the said festivity, Bar No. 7 serves gourmet holiday drinks, specially created by Giann Divino, Curator's senior bartender, and mixologist – with, of course, Jack Daniel's as its main ingredient.

The world's top whiskey company continues the long-standing tradition of putting up a Holiday Barrel Tree, made from their very own oak barrels, in major cosmopolitan areas around the globe.

Prior to its recent staging, Jack Daniel's made its Philippine debut of this highly-anticipated global tradition when two Holiday Barrel Trees were raised at the Fuente Circle of Eastwood City and at The Fort Plaza BGC in 2014. These two structures were hailed as the first Holiday Barrel Tree in Southeast Asia, a feat that recognizes the brand's growing presence in the country.

Believe it or not, there are 122 barrels that comprise this special structure; with each bearing a message that speaks to the brand's mantra “It's not what's under the tree that matters, it's who's around it.”

Since its launching, The Jack Daniel's Holiday Barrel Tree 2018 can now be viewed within the business and commercial district of Bonifacio High Street, where friends and family can gather around and enjoy its welcoming, festive vibe.
