Upcoming: Bitt3rd - Ampalaya Monologues 3rd Anniversary Show

10/25/2018 01:00:56 PM

Ampalaya Monologues will celebrate its third anniversary this Saturday with a special show at Green Sun in Makati City.

Titled as BITT3RD, the show promises to be the deepest, funniest, and most relatable to date; and its cast will consist of two kinds of people: those who drink and those who cause the urge to drink. Ampalaya Monologues asks, “Which one will you be?” As the night unfolds, interconnected stories of those who have taken chances find themselves to be both through their own and others’ experiences.

The pieces to be performed at BITT3RD will be given to life by Monologista Inc., the country's premier and pioneer group of monologists which includes the likes of Janine Lloce, Abe Herma, Jerome Dawis, Sonson O., Patty Arro, Justinne Punsalang, and Ristichen. Also, spoken word artists Carlo Hornilla, Antonio Bathan Jr., Beverly Cumla, Zuela Herrera, as well as other surprise guests will join this Saturday night gathering.

For three years, Ampalaya Monologues staged over 70+ episodic long-speech plays in various places around the country, including PETA Theater Center, Iloilo, Bicol, MOA Concert Grounds, Zamboanga, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines. All of these shows are written by Mark Ghosn, with one guaranteed aim at hand: making everyone – especially those who come in bitter – come out feeling better.... definitely.

#Bitt3rd - The Ampalaya Monologues Anniversary show will be held on Saturday, 27 October 2018, 7:30 – 10:00 PM at Green Sun, Makati. Tickets are available for P300 only.
