It was during that loud Saturday night when music and film make its convergence for one night as We Are The Underdogs Productions staged CineMusika at Aloha Bar and Grill in The Collective, Makati City.
The night featured number of shorts films from Usok Kalye Productions, Brylle Refordazo, Avanguard Creatives, and Jiggy Gregorio; as well as live music from Death By Elephant, The Subsrping, Wasted Wendy, and Carousel Casualties.
The night also featured several artworks from Lan Cortez.
It's been the first time (in a very long while) I stormed on such collaborative gigs like CineMusika. Well, indeed night of firsts for me as I find the place kinda different from usual (but to expound is another day to deal), and hearing most of the bands just got my preferences wider. Plus these pictures, though telling different stories, proved there are more potential people in the filmmaking industry; more than those who usually make it at the independent movie festivals and contests.
