The Pre-take: WWE Payback 2016

05/01/2016 08:47:19 PM

The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) staged their WrestleMania revenge tour as the aftermath tale of the Show of Shows, and looks like a quarter-long road has taken aback with a shortcut tour to avenge, and that's WWE Payback for you.

While Cesaro earned a shot at the Miz intercontinental championship, I felt bad for Zack Ryder. He had his WretsleMania stage only to end up his IC reign another joke on his career comprised of shitting flukes made by the creative writers who seemed to take him lightly.

I guess, he will appear out of nowhere and Cesaro steals the white-and-gold belt. But I wish Ryder would beat the crap out of these two. Like, hey, you're messing with me and you're holding my title. That could be be a perfect payback right there!

Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho. Say, the Ambose Asylum has rammed thru the heels for the past two PPV months and ended up getting screwed. That's if he loses against Chris Jericho on Sunday night. Heck, I'm seeing the asylum being brought up just like that again. And we're not talking about talk show segments here.

I mean, I am seeing Dean getting the needed-W here. No way he can't.

Old school wwrestling meet the gangters who could put on a show. I might even think we are seeing a mini-NXT TakeOver at the main roster when these two along with other individuals from Hunter's baby . And we're talking about The Vaudevillains vs. the not-SAWFT duo of Bigg Cass and Enzo Amore.

And I think any of these two will surely dethrone the New Day for the tag team championship.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin. An upcoming show-stopper versus the veteran show-stealer. He can single-handedly beat the shit out of everyone just like he did on NXT. And at Payback, looks like someone will either avenge to end his days.

So, I'm foreseeing Baron Corbin taking home the victory.

I sincerely wish though that Natalya would avenge her series of defeats on several title matched held at RoadBlock and RAW. Like seriously, Charlotte may be an effective to pilot the women's division right now, and Natalya may be a veteran to pull out the plug. But hey, this lady had been so great in women's wrestling that she deserves a title shot.

And if they want to paint a Payback color at the female division, she is the right one to hold the title for quite some time, until Sasha Banks rise to stardom on SummerSlam.

If there should be a better main event on WWE Payback other than the WWE World Heavyweight Championship battle, it should be Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens. These two have unfinished business, not just since their clash at NXT, but way... way back in their independent circuit days.

I have a gut feeling that Vince will turn back on Stephanie McMahon, and a brand split will be made wherein Shane will run RAW while Stephanie and Triple H will take over SmackDown and NXT, respectively.

So I guess, the developmental firm might have been tertiary option but later will rise above the two – hey, even help SmackDown to conspire RAW. And that will be best for business. Well, in my dreams.

Hey, we almost forgot the title match, right? How about giving a prediction of ugly shenanigans taking place somewhere? Like it will end on either a disqualification result or Reigns retaining the title, but Gallows and Anderson -- plus a potential suit-up by Finn Balor -- will conspire the Big Dog. And afterwards, The Usos make a save.

But the Wyatts will interfere and beat anyone... except Reigns?

However, with both Bray and Luke Harper at the sick bay? Shucks, we could only wish!
