I'm not a fan of Duterte, b...Interesting post.<br /><br />I'm not a fan of Duterte, but I have to admit that he's reign as Davao city mayor has helped the area keep its peace and prosperity. But the truth is, that's not enough to make him "presidential". <br /><br />For me, he's too radical; his extreme beliefs of governing in his "own way" may be counterproductive. Furthermore, if PH is to have a strong voice in foreign affairs, it needs a sophisticated and open-minded leader. Duterte dismissed the criticisms of the local CHR/DOJ regarding his plans to "kill" criminals, which is a bad move. But what if he does something worse as president and the UN stepped in to criticize?
