Upcoming: IISA

05/10/2018 02:49:00 AM

From two sold out shows to the third – and even bigger one. Yes, I mean to emphasize the latter since the trio of Johnoy Danao, Ebe Dancel, and Bullet Dumas – known as 3D to the people in the gig circuit – is back for one show this June 2018. The anthem-makers were once known for staging two sold-out shows at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan, on two separate occasions in 2016.

It was the tandem of Gabi Na Naman Productions and Vandals On The Wall which made the shows known as DAMA possible. The same duo-organizers are also known to stage sold-out shows at the Music Museum as well as various gig venues around the metro.

Johnoy Danao
However, unlike the predecessors, the third program will be known as IISA and it will be on the Kia Theatre in Quezon City on 9 June 2018. And of course, the concert takes a leap from its previous reiteration to offer a concert experience like no other, with the promises to build a whole cathedral out of songs that celebrate and dissect love, life, heartbreak, loss, connection and intimacy.

Bullet Dumas
IISA is poised to further raise the level of earnestness that comes with its artists' brand by means of retaining the stripped-down foundations of their performances while also giving space to swell and soar, haunt, and grapple with emotions.

Ebe Dancel
Concert-goers are expected to hear Dancel, Dumas, and Danao, with their respective – and much-grander sounds in unison with Manila String Machine backing them while performing individual sets much to the clamor of the fans and personal picks as well. Plus collaborations with artists from various spectrum of art, music and dance are set to take place as part of the ensemble’s pursuit to up the ante of performance level.
