WrestleMania 34 comprised of 13 matches, right? So that means we might not be seeing an impromptu John Cena's challenge to the Undertaker, right?
Well, we can only hope for them to show up. Besides, should a match take place and Taker eventually win – might do a 360 turnaround reaction for people inside a place where his winning run was laid to waste by Brock Lesnar.
Still, this match should've taken place right before somebody snapped his Mania dominance.
It was billed as a dream match, and frankly this SHOULD be the main event of this year's WrestleMania.
And if you go back to New Japan, we all know what happened to their last match together before the Phenomenal One crossed coasts over Pacific and joined Vince's promotion.
Is this Shinsuke's time? Probably it is. Can he dethrone AJ Styles? Definitely. Of course he can. And that inadvertently elevates the competition in the line of individual performers in SmackDown. The more important question is who will step up to the King of Strong Style.
However, is it possible to wound up AJ retaining the WWE championship? Well, yes. And why not? He has been the top-calibrated player from SmackDown Live for so long. And him retaining it might poised for the guys in that locker room to become his next challenger. That's a big IF, though, since some popular guys are in the mid-card.
But is AJ-Shinsuke feud over from then on? I don't think so, unless AJ moves to RAW.
Enter Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar at the last card of this Show of Shows. These two have dealt The Undertaker his two losses in WWE's flagship event. And as if getting past The Deadman is the E's prestige prize, so is the RAW's flagship title – the WWE Universal Championship.
We have probably seen this scenario before, as earlier as the post-Mania RAW of 2017. It appeared thata Paul Heyman isn't just a smooth (though annoying) salesman – but also a prophet who dictates the story of this part-timer champ.
And with the brutality and savagery these two has hampering on one another, we can only hope for this match to be placed elsewhere and not the main event of Mania. Yup, even if they declare this match as a no-disqualification one.
But of course, Roman will eventually overcome the odds; the big dog just ate the beast incarnate alive and bags that red title home. After all, Brock's time is up and he is rumored to hit the octagon soon.
Quite imagine the pop if WWE resorts into another Braun Strowman's post-main event assault just to salvage themselves into another potential clusterfuck ending.
And just like that, WrestleMania 34 may turn out to be another dragging show for the third straight year. When was the last time we have seen the main program last for just a fixed four hours long? Three years ago, or during Mania 31? Tough to balance the airtime and the stack of talent out there, eh?
Well, let's see this Sunday night/Monday morning!
