The Scene Around: Eurythmic

10/11/2016 06:07:36 PM

Docdef Productions staged their monthly gig at Route 196 in Quezon City; and it promised to be a heck of a Friday night to, at least, remember this September. This time, it was called Eurythmic.

This became the first one I witnessed Rob and The Hitmen, a pop rock band who could barely go soul with the resemblance of Jensen and The Flips.

But apart from that, it was a birthday salubong for the young singer-songwriter Neala Medina as she turned 24 past midnight.

Also, Ube, Farewell Fair Weather, Gideon, and Banna Harbera played for Docdef during the evening.

Capping up the night were the synth-pop Paranoid City, who just punched their ticket to play for Zandari Festa a week later.

(All photos of the performers during the evening, except from Paranoid City, were from Giography and used with permission.)
