Upcoming: Unfriended

1/22/2015 5:34:16 PM

One of my close friends in the office sent me via Skype a copy of this movie trailer.

I've got to be honest with you, though: I’m not a fan of horror films. I never dared myself to watch them fully whether by soloflight or with companions.

I have been hearing this trailer for already a few days on my Facebook news feed. Say, there’s a lot of positive feedbacks here, huh?

Talk about modern type – or should I say – cyber version of “horror,” eh?

Unfriended – or previously billed as Cybernatural – tackles a story of a teenage girl (whose also known for being the popular student in high school) who just got bullied in the cyberspace after her friends posted a clip of her being wasted. This eventually led to her suicide attempt.

A year later, looks like somebody's about to exact revenge on her behalf. And it's going to be a very ugly one, like revealing secrets, torturing the 'culprits,' and even worse.

Universal Pictures and Bazelevs Compnay made this 82-minter motion picture possible. They have received handful of recognitions at the 2014 Fantasia International Festival, and is set to take on the US screens by April 17, 2015.

The cast appeared new to me (or maybe because I haven’t watch enough foreign movies), and the production personnel as well, such as directors Levan Gabriadze.

This is just a prejudice take: looks like the issue’s a bit relatable at present considering bullying during those high school days is so evident whether in the United States, here in the country or even around the globe.

Looks like a good mix, and perhaps a lesson to bare for the youngsters who take a lot of selfies and trolling the innocent ones over the World Wide Web.

Well, this should better be an interesting flick to watch.
